The skiing at Lake Louise is very dramatic, with its steep bowls and gullies. Sunshine Village is known for its wide-open bowls and has the highest base elevation in all of Banff, with over 3500 ft of vertical drop. Snow conditions are such that the resort sometimes stays open until July. Mystic Ridge/Norquay, also known as "Norky," boasts powerful steeps and monster moguls.
